Happily rolling along

The Series III clinchers (now known as Milenstein) are awesome stiff wheelset

Damaged and repaired clincher wheel

Well s*it can happen whenever you ride your bike. There is always a chance for puncture. There is what happen to me last Thursday. Oh well I slash my tyres and repair as you would. Before going to complete stop there is still air but I distinctly remember there were two hits of hard object like stones on road. I did not take much notice to the rim until I went home and change my tyres

As you can see the rim fracture or delaminated a little. Appear only the surface is detaching.

So I brought the wheel to carbon repair Leuscher Teknik. He took only one working day and $75 to produce a detailed report. 

So it's a minor damage in his grading system

So I ordered the repair and after 3 working days here is the outcome

I'm very happy with repair and keep riding the wheels. I even replace the skewer which lightweight recommends replacement after 3 years.
