Stages is better than Vector S in the recent Bike Radar test

We already know that Stages power meters are good products. Now the industry guru have tested it and show that it is superior than Vector and dare I say Power Tap. The figure it produces are very close to those on the SRM, even considering that Stages only measure the left crank power.

What still puzzles me is the complaint of battery life. I have ridden in the rain on the Stages and you need to wipe the unit down and even take the battery out. But I have only change battery 4 times in 18 months and last battery lasts from throughout the summer. I am sure there is 200 hours of life in one battery. Main thing is to update the firmware frequently.

Audi Urgestalt?!?!

I'm never a fan of car manufacturers having a go doing bikes... And worst claiming of their own. We have Colnago-Ferrari, BMW M Focus and now Audi-Lighweight.

They simply replace the decals to their horrible red.

What do you think?

LightWeight Urgestalt review in Bike Radar

Link to the article here.

As expected, the most interesting agreement with the author is the ability for the urgestalt to handle downhill.

Slam that stem mate. Take that 5mm spacer out!

"The ride position is long and low, and the responsive handling makes every twist and turn an experience worth repeating. You can lay the Urgestalt over and pin it through an apex with total confidence. It’s hard to say whether it’s the fastest chassis ever, but it is a brilliant all-out race machine with a comfort that matches its performance."
